Generations USA Tour 2026

It’s time to get your synth-pop fix as The Human League, Soft Cell and Alison Moyet bring their decades-long career of New Wave music to the Saenger Theatre on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The show will begin at 7:30pm and doors will open at 6:30pm.

The Generations USA Tour 2026 is currently traveling across North America including stops in San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Redmond, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Nashville, Dallas and many more cities before making its final stop in Niagara Falls on July 2, 2026. 

The Human League

Headlining the legendary triple bill to celebrate some of the biggest and best synth-pop of the 80s is The Human League. Pioneers of the experimental end of the late 1970s UK electronic music scene, Sheffield band The Human League made some of the biggest and most successful pop hits of the 1980s including “don’t You Want Me”, “Human”, and “Fascination”.

They haven’t played all of their hits to packed crowds of fans across the country since 2011. The Human League were inducted into the Brit Award Hall of Fame in 2018 for their significant influence on British pop music. 

Soft Cell

The British synth-pop duo of Marc Almond and Dave Ball, “Tainted Love,” “The Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret,” and “Say Hello". The duo’s latest album, Happiness Now Completed, Goodbye.” A pioneering act of the new romantic movement in the early 1980s, Soft Cell had songs in the UK charts for an astonishing 43 weeks in 1981.

Alison Moyet

Alison first came to fame in the 80’s as the female half of the synth-pop duo Yazoo, their debut single “Only You” reaching the top of the UK charts and staying there for 43 weeks in 1981. As a solo artist she has had huge success, winning a BRIT Award and having multiple platinum selling albums. Her most recent album “Key” was released in 2024 and some of the songs that she will play are “Love Resurrection”, “Weak in the Presence of Beauty” and “All Cried Out”.

Saenger Theatre Information

The Saenger Theatre is a historic 1920s theater with a 3,000 seat capacity, located in the heart of New Orleans’ Central Business District, at 1111 Canal Street. A landmark of the city, the theater has been beautifully restored to its original grandeur while incorporating the very best in modern conveniences. The theater boasts approximately 2,600 seats between the three levels: Orchestra, Loge and Balcony.

The Saenger is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator providing the many food kiosks, bars and concession stands found on the Orchestra and Balcony levels where patrons can enjoy a wide variety of cuisine and beverages. Parking Information

For parking look for the University Garage located at 145 Roosevelt Way that has pre-purchased parking for this show at the Saenger theatre in New Orleans’ Central Business District for $30. Other parking lots and garages in the area also offer paid parking both close and far, some labeled as Premium Parking.
